That's been suggested before. The problem with it that some people get click-happy and "report" anything they don't like, and admins don't always take the time to review what they are removing. On one site I frequently post at the rule is "five clicks and it's gone," with no explanation. I've had several posts removed under that rule.

This person in in the United States,people like this ruin things for everybody strictly out of greed.

I'm referring to a fairly popular news site (seattletimes.com), and they're dealing with thousands of posts daily. I don't agree with their rule, but they aren't really obligated to run their site democratically. I have to admit, it is fairly effective against spam. I don't know that the trade-off is worth it.

The trade off is definitely not worth it .

It seems like a packaged deal ; near complete freedom of lawful speech , with the spammers and trolls . I wish it could be another way .
